Got Lice? Not for long!

An extremely itchy bleeding scalp is an infection of the skin that there is, evidently, no easy explanations for. I know this for a fact because I lived with the unpleasant scalp disease for almost three years. My knowledge of it isn’t based off observations alone. I tried Nizoral Shampoo, Scalpicin, Selsun Blue, Neutrogena T/Sal Therapeutic Shampoo, Head and Shoulders (different types of it), and several other anti-dandruff medicated shampoos including three bottles of Tree oil ointments, all to no avail. Some of these shampoos did nothing but worsen the condition causing me some serious inflammatory grief.

I paid fruitless visits to numerous doctors and dermatologists spending hundreds of dollars in the whole process. I was willing to try anything to rid myself of this agonizing scalp ailment. I even went as far as to request two separate blood tests be performed on me just to make sure I didn’t have any diseases. I figured at least if something came back on the tests, the doctors would know what to do then. But when the tests came back okay, I was baffled, disappointed, worried, and angry. WHY ME????

We’ve all washed every clothing item ever, vaccumed, done our hair, but they still come back.
so what i really need to know is:
Does lice live in your carpets? And if they do does vaccuming help that much cause it doesn’t seem to?

So I went to the hair dresser about half an hour before closing time for a trim and decided to get a full on cut. I’ve NEVER had lice before so, naturally, I panicked. I bought Lice removal shampoo and I’m following the instructions carefully only here is whats wierd:

I scratch my scalp from time to time, usually when I think and haven’t noticed that it itched until AFTER the lady mentioned it. Before that, I had no problem with an itchy scalp. I have never had lice and niether have any of my friends and I have not used a comb or a hat from any of my friends who do lack a bit more in the personal hygiene department. We recently took in a stray cat, but I wonder if its possible for me to get lice from that?

When I combed my hair with the lice thing they gave me, I did not remove any actual lice, but a lot of something little and white. Was it a louse egg or just shampoo residue? I can’t tell…

Well now I’m freaking out and washing EVERYTHING just to be safe but here is what I’m wondering:

Do I REALLY have lice?

I have a scar on the back of my head and wonder if maybe the woman could have seen dandruff or something and then mistook the scars for bite marks or something (it breaks off a few times in large mumps)

is lice and dandruff easy to confuse?
