Is there anything I could do to kill head lice, I won’t have money for a few more days and want to get rid of them now! My sister just moved back home two days ago and we found lice in her hair today and she’s been sleeping in my room! How do I clean my beddings, carpet, pillows and my hair if i don’t have the money to buy the products right now. is there anything i can do, like home remedies? Please I need help. I hate lice! they freak me out!

My 9 yr old son has a bad case of head lice, which has been discovered while he’s away for a couple weeks. So, before he gets back I have the task of vanquishing all of those buggers from his room. First, I washed his bedding in hot water. Then I picked up all his pillows and heavy blankets and stuffed toys from his bed, and crammed them into black garbage bags. And I know they say that it’s like a month before all the buggers will die off in there on their own, but I don’t exactly have a month before he gets back. I know he can live without them. But I can try.

Anyways, the stuff being in black garbage bags gave me the idea of setting them out in the sun to let the heat cook those little suckers. Will it work?

I could get a candy thermometer and have it sticking out of one the bags, and I could check it now and then. But, at what temp would they die? And would the nits die too?

My daughter has had head lice for about a week. She got it in school ang i have no idea how to eliminate this problem. I have been using a solution called NIX but it didn’t work, it says you can apply a second application but i’ve heard that the bugs have become immmune to NIX over time, does anyone no of a solution or something to get rid of this? Its really been hard for my daughter and if anyone knows of a way to eliminate the problem, please tell me! thank you!

I am having a pool party for a bunch of 8 year olds and I suspect a couple of kids may have head lice. Will chlorine from the pool kill head lice? I am very concerned about this.

I have a haircut tomorrow.
I need to know what can kill it or at least prevent it from the haircut guy to see that I have lice.
And how to get rid of eggs.
