Got Lice? Not for long!

OK so my child Anastasia, she got a case of head lice from one of her friends at school. for about 4 months we have been treating it and treating it, with everything from store products, to mayo treatments, and we even died her hair a different color thinking that would surly kill them but after each treatment a couple of days later she is itching her head again and there back! please help my daughter is getting really sad that they are not leaving and i need a way to get rid of them. please help me its so hard trying to deal with them. and i am not going to shave her head thats not an option, im sorry i could just not do that to her with all this she has been through i just cant. thank you so much for your answers. I JUST GOT ANOTHER CALL FROM THE SCHOOL STATING THAT MY CHILD HAS NITS! I JUST WASHED HER HEAD IN THE LICE TREATMENT AND SHE AND I BOTH DID HER HEAD! I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO GET THE NITS OUT OF CURLY HAIR! AND WHEN I SAY CURLY I MEAN CURLY!! (AND THICK TOO!) HELP PLEASE! I have a child who keeps getting reinfested with head lice. The nurse sends her home,I clean her out really well,sheets,pillows,toys,etc.,she goes back to school and she comes back home with them AGAIN!! Ive already mentioned this to the nurse at her school and the nurse claims that she did a head check and claims that my child is the only one who has them which I know is BS.Anyway, this time she is REALLY infested.I have never seen anything like this before! I have tried all kinds of lice treatments already.A neighbor told me that flea shampoo works really well.Does anyone know about this?Also,it is so bad that I feel I really need to shave her head and let her hair start over but the school nurse said that I will be charged with abuse if I do this.Does anyone know?I mean,it is for her own well being since she already has alot of infected boils from the scratching!Its actually HORRIBLE! It doesnt help that I cannot see very well and no one wants to help me with her.

how soon thereafter can i wash with regular shampoo? and can i treat the hair again with the special shampoo before the recomended 7 to 10 days without damaging the hair? is there a better treatment out there besides the shampoo? we have never had this before ever, so i’m up for other peoples solutions that has had to get rid of this stuff
