Got Lice? Not for long!

I have heard this works. I can’t get rid of it on my kids with the OTC treatments. HELP!! They are really adding up.

I’ve gotten a kit w shampoo and a comb and some bedding spray. But after I used the shampoo on her and was going through her hair w the nit comb, some bugs were still crawling around. I promply took the live ones off the comb and sprayed them w the bedding spray and they died right away. I know I can’t use that spray on her, so please don’t think I have considered that as an option, cuz it could harm her. I’m already in the process of washing all our bedding and brushes. I’m hoping that someone has some techniques that maybe I haven’t thought of. Please answer this if you have been through it before!

as many people have noticed primary school kids have head lice and high school students dont really … what is the difference between primary school and high school … primary school students are shorter.. the water pressure in the water is less if you are lower down so the nits are really being pressured out its just like them having a tiny shower in our hair…. my dad went to the shops and bought a moving shower thing connectable shower thing and so i can put it up to my hair … so buy one do that buy nit shampoo straight after you have the shower because you or your child is lower then use connectable shower thing then rinses out abit of water then ptu nit shampoo in … if not much 10 mins .. well anyway time is on nit shampoo i left it on for about 30 mins… next day i probly had like 3 nits i do it like everynight so that way they’ll go only 2 days of toing it …. BAM AND THE NITS ARE GONE! lol ..

I think I have lice, I work at an el. school and there was a small epidemic. I’m just worried about the strength of the chemicals in the lice treatments and its effects on my hair. The last time I had lice was 3 years ago in Brazil and their treatments KILLED my hair. It thinned out because of fallout from the chemicals and I don’t think it ever recovered. I believe it was because its a third world country and maybe the U.S. has better products. But I still don’t want to risk getting just any lice treatment. I know I should see a dermetologist but its saturday and I don’t want to make it worse by the time I see one. Some of you may recommend a brand that worked well for you, but your hair may be a lot stronger no matter what the quality of brand/treatment etc. Does anyone knoe for sure of a gentle treatment?

I need some living head lice to study, and I can’t find any. The only things that numerous internet searches turn up are head lice treatments, and I don’t know where else to look. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
No, I’m not working for revenge and no I’m not going to deal with Kindergarten kids just for the lice. What I’m trying to do is start a colony so that I can “home test” different organic ways of getting rid of them.

One of my best galpals is in tears because she can’t seem to stop the head lice from coming back on her daughter. She has done the Rid and Nix- the doc suggested Lindane prescription stuff. I told her Oh no don’t do that…. I have heard of Neem.

I have been reading about it- and I wonder if anyone has used it for killing head lice?

My daughter has severe head lice. We have used every single lice treatment, the sprays, washed everything in hot water, vacuumed, and tried the half vinegar and half rubbing alcohol thing. When it finally seems like Im getting somewhere, there they are again! I am going crazy! Please help me! We even had to cut 12 inches of her long beautiful hair, which is a mothers nightmare! could they be immune to the treatments? I just dont understand where they are coming from!

I heard the mayo with olive oil works the best… If not do you have any other suggestions ,Thanks
