Coloring your hair, will keep them away and get rid of them, but its pretty dramatic, approach to it.
Like the episode of southpark there’s a shampoo you can put on it. don’t cut it off just clean it.
Wash all bedding towels jackets etc. It is best to dry at a high heat as this will kill the nits.
You need someone to pick the nits (eggs) from your hair.
Vacuum everything you can couch bed etc.
Reapply shampoo after 7 days.
Hair dye DOES NOT kill lice or the nits.
Inform anyone you may have infected and check family members.

Second, if possible, try to find the source of the lice:
Did you sleep over a friends’ home, recently?
Did you wear a buddy’s hat?
Were you sent to the dog house without dinner?
(sorry, bad attempt at humor, there!)
Third, enter the phrase “getting rid of head lice” without the quotes into your favorite search engine, and, of course, see a doctor immediately.
