I just realized I have lice! gross! I think I got it at the airport yesterday. I looked at a picture of it today & I nearly threw up! I need it gone. Would dying my hair kill the lice??? I washed it 3 times today already! I can’t get to sleep knowing i have a bunch of gross little bugs crawling on my head. I am going to dye my hair tomorrow and hopefully it will kill it, should I take a flee bath???? any suggestions on getting rid of it fast??? thanks soo much

buy riddex or i guess any kind of llice shampoo at the store…a drugstore..it will come with everything you need, the shampoo, the lice comb, yeah..good luck
covering your hair in mayonase will kill it and then get a specail shampoo. i think toms of mane works but i know that there is more then one kind that will kill lice
after you buy the shampoo to kill it you need to buy something to get it out of your bedding and furniture. then repeat the steps in 10 days.
they sell special shampoo for lice. i guess cutting your hair works, too. just make sure you don’t pass it on.
No, dying your hair WILL NOT HELP. Lice can live through just about anything. Washing your hair won’t help either. They can hold their breath for a very long time.
Buy a lice killing shampoo at a drugstore. It should come with a shampoo and a comb. Shampoo your hair and have someone go through your hair and use the comb to get out any eggs. Anyone else in your family should do this too or else it will just be passed back to you.
Now comes the fun part. Wash your bedding, clothes, anything you’ve come in contact with in HOT water. Then dry them on high in the drier for at least 45 minutes. This should be done frequently. Stuffed animals or things that cant be washed should be placed in a plastic garbage bag for a few weeks.
As for your carpet, vaccume, vaccume, vaccume. Every chance you get. They can live in your carpet for a long time and the only way to get them out is to clean your carpet a lot. Make sure to empty the canister/bag right away into a plastic bag and throw it out.
Repeat these steps often because if you miss a couple, they’ll come back.
I had lice and i got this stuff called Nix, it really worked, i dyed my hair that helped, also flattening it using a hair straightener helps. the shampoo that i used was Purell the shampoo
