i wouldn’t mind catching your lice
you are right: You lady ARE a nit-wit
Hello,
Welcome back to school and Here comes
the Head Lice Again. Do not let your
preschoolers and your children sleep on
the carpet or share their blanket, or
pillows while napping in school. Keep
safe and check your children’s hair often
when you are combing their hair to go
to school. Head Lice Spreads so fast in
the schools. Olive Oil is the cure
It works and it is safe. I recommend a
video title ” Getting Rid Of Head Lice” that
you can order on your web site.
I say that the olive oil is your best bet.
because it is safe and you will tackle
the Century Head Lice. Many people prefer
not to use unknown medicine or products for
Head Lice. Use Olive Oil, Wash out next day
comb out nets and pinch out nets with fingers.
keep checking hair each week and again use
Olive Oil in another 2 weeks. Need to wash
and dry all blankets, stuff toys, sheets,
hats, pillows. do not let children share
combs, brushes, and hats which causes spreading of Lice.
My 9 yr old kept getting her lice back (due to a friend having them.) She missed the first 3 days of school last year to this. I was talking with another mom who used a product called No Lice that is found in the health food stores. After using the first time she was back in school the next day nit free and she was able to wash her hair immediately after treatment. We follow up with a teatree shampoo for the rest of the week we do the 2nd treatment and we are good to go.
they are always hiring. if your wish is to work there; go for it. you need to get out more.
Ya know – I still really like this episode; I think I give a great deal of useful and valid information!
Thank you for commenting on my show! I think it’s rather clever to call me a “nit-wit” in light of my obvious “nit-picking” instructional video! All comments are read by host, so you needn’t refer to me in the third person. i.e., “YOU, lady, are a nit-wit!” – xo, mamarama
this lady is a nit-wit.
I do NOT work for hair fairies! I wish. And why would that be insulting anyway??
this woman works for hair fairies.
how insulting.
i hope her boss gave her a good bonus for going the extra mile for the team.
i would like to thank you for your informative mini series you did on head lice it is a very frustrating problem. i am a mother of four two are at school and one of my girls has very thick hair i found using a hair straightner really helps it seems to kill the eggs the only problem is sometimes you cant get close enough but it kills most of them also euceleptus oil ( from gumleaves) works when mixed with tea tree oil im from australia so i guess the problem is world wide thanks again
Olive oil is a true treament to get rid of
lice if you do it right. Need to drench
all your hair with Olive Oil wrap a towel
around your whole head and cover all your
hair. Leave it wraped up with the Olive Oil
until the next morning then wash with shampo
and comb it out with a lice comb and also
you need to pinch your fingers and pull out
the dead eggs and nets out. The Olive oil
kills all because it cuts off their oxgen
and they die. Check out the video of
Head Lice.
I love that you’ve dedicated so much of your time to inform others out there about what you’ve learned about lice, however, I work at Hair Faires in San Francisco and must say that it is important to launder your baeeding or swith it out on a 3 day cycle because lice can live for up to 48 hours without feeding. Also, lice don’t drown because they get their oxygen from the blood they feed on so olive oil is a non-solution as are mayonnaise and petroleum jelly (vaseline). Otherwise way to go lady!
one great one is dandruff shampoo (those tea tree and peppermint oils are in some of the more natural ingredient dandruff shampoos)
that’s what I used on my son when we had it… it killed everything and washed off all the eggs because it shleffed off the excess dead skin (it was summer and everyone was sweating, so it happens)… then I went through and combed out everything.
