Well i heard that African American people do not because the hair is greasy. I heard a myth that they like dirty hair NOT TRUE!!!! Head lice love clean hair. I learned from experience when i had to cut my locks off when i was 23 years my stepdaughter had it and gave it to me. I had the cleanest head in the world washed it everyday and them damn things got on my hair. I had to cut my hair almost bald and wair a wig. It was the worst years of my life.

I really do not think lice are very particular about whose hair they decide to infest.
