My downstairs neighbor daughter had head lice. I don’t ever go really close to them or go in their apartment and they don’t come in mine but I am worried about them getting in my Apartment. Is that possible?

It would be extremely unlikely. Head lice are transmitted when they walk directly from one head to another, usually when children put their heads close together – reading, playing, hugging etc. Lice don’t jump or fly. Occasionally they are transferred on brushes and combs, hats or bedding, but they don’t live long away from the human head.
